Early Childhood Educator
Tasks and Responsibilities

The Successful applicant would be responsible for caring for children between the ages of 6 and 12 at Kids Place Summer Program.

This program is run through our organization and provides full time care for children in our community while their parents work and school is out for the summer. This Kids Place Summer Daycamp program will be run every week during the summer and will provide children with food, activities, creative outlets, and educational experiences. Each week will have a different theme.

This job requires someone who will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to boost the mental, physical and emotional well being of the children in our care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • meeting the practical needs of the students in day care between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • planning and providing healthy snacks and meals
  • planning and participating in a variety of activities, educational experiences and outings that encourage physical well being, creative expression, and mental stimulation.
